Burglary victims reported being threatened when intruders entered their Dover home and stole their belongings.
On Saturday 5 January 2019 at around 9pm two men, described as white and in their early twenties, burgled the property in Terrace Road, Elvington and threatened the occupants, demanding cash.
One of the suspects went upstairs before they both left the house with a mobile phone, watches and jewellery.
It is believed the suspects have local accents, one of them was wearing a black padded jacket and the other had a tan-coloured jacket. They were both wearing hooded tops that covered their faces.
Detective Sergeant David Cox said: ‘Luckily no one was injured during this incident and whilst our detectives carry out their enquiries we would ask any witnesses who may recognise the descriptions or saw what happened to contact us straight away.
‘We also believe a van parked in the same street was broken into and another car was damaged at around the same time.’
Anyone with information regarding these incidents should call the East Kent appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/3356/19.
Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers in Kent anonymously on 0800 555 111.
